Transfer Sessions Between Clients

EEGer allows recorded session data to be transferred between Client IDs. This is particularly useful if a session is accidentally run using the wrong Client ID, or to assist in transferring files between systems. To change the Client ID associated with session files, follow the instructions below.

  1. Navigate to Files>Archive/File Management from the top toolbar of EEGer's main screen.

  2. On the right side of the window that appears, select Move files from active client/class to another active client.

  3. Select the Client ID to transfer session files from - a list of recorded sessions will appear.

  4. Select the session files to transfer to another Client ID. Each session should have an associated .RAW and .SUM data files. Selected files will display with red text - files can be deselected by clicking on them once selected.

  5. Press OK at the bottom of the window and select the Client ID to transfer the files to.

  6. Select the Protocol Class to categorize the sessions under.

  7. A new window will appear displaying information on the session to be transferred. This will happen with each session file to ensure that they are intended to be transferred. To move a file, select Yes (move). To not move a file but continue moving other files, select No, leave file. To skip manual confirmation of the files, click Yes, move without asking. At any time the user can select Stop moving now to exit the process.
