Ardea Games

Exclusive to the EEGer4 software and developed in collaboration with EEG Software & clinicians from the community, these games are great choices to add to a new or existing neurofeedback practice. They are valued by clinicians for their vivid and immersive feedback, appropriate for clients of all ages.

Orb: Elements by Ardea Games

Orb is an engaging, visually captivating game where an elemental orb floats in an abstract environment. As players stay in a reward state, the orb transforms into a star-like crystal. The game features a central orb, a speedometer-like progress bar, and individual meters for each trace, providing dynamic visual feedback.

Higher levels introduce atmospheric effects, such as whirlwinds, to signify progression. The game’s default 10-second time requirement can be adjusted to suit different difficulty levels and session lengths. Includes five elemental types: Wind, Water, Ice, Fire, Lightning.

Lotus Pond by Ardea Games

Lotus Pond is a serene, peaceful scene where a lotus flower blooms at the center of a quiet pond. When in a rewardable state, the flower gradually opens and soft chimes play. Visual feedback is enhanced by koi fish, butterflies, and trace meter bars that display amplitudes of individual inhibit and reward traces. The time of day in the environment progresses with each new session, adding variety during longer sessions.

A gentle glow from the flower provides bonus feedback when a sustained rewardable state is achieved. Lotus Pond offers clinicians flexible setting adjustments to tailor the game to each client or for all clients, making it a useful tool for clients of all ages. Distractions can be minimized and the experienced tailored.

Airship Regatta by Ardea Games

Airship Regatta is a dynamic, fantastical race between airships in a magical canyon. The objective is to keep the middle ship, representing the reward trace, at the forefront, while keeping the side ships, which represent the inhibit traces, as far behind as possible.

Magic rings and ship animations provide feedback, signaling whether the client is above or below their reward or inhibit traces. When the client maintains a reward state long enough, a special boost propels them ahead in the race, tracked by a boost bar at the bottom of the screen. Amplitude meter bars for the reward and inhibit traces offer additional real-time feedback, with options for more trace meters if the client is using more complex layouts.

Potions by Ardea Games

Assist a wizard in their apothecary by managing three boiling liquid bottles! The objective is to fill the middle bottle while keeping the others as low as possible.

The middle bottle represents the reward trace's amplitude, while the bottles on either side reflect the inhibit traces. Real-time amplitude data is shown on trace meters in the top right. With each reward, the score counter increases, and a magic star appears from the middle bottle. A special animation is triggered when the client stays in a complete reward state for several seconds.

Postcards by Ardea Games

Postcards is a charming game featuring multiple scenes with stylistic art reminiscent of classic fridge magnets or travel cards. Each scene starts simple and gradually evolves as rewards are earned, with themed objects appropriate to each scene appearing. A central object serves as both a focal point and a performance gauge.

Scenes include:

  • Summer: A clam shell opens and closes with the reward state, revealing a pearl.

  • Winter: Twin lampposts glow and fade, illuminating the night.

  • Fall and Forest: A campfire burns brightly during a rewardable state.

Legacy Games

Long supported by the EEGer software, these games provide dynamic feedback options to expand EEGer’s core game offerings. Support can be limited on some modern systems, so its recommended to download and test the games in replay mode or as a free 30-day trial to see the feedback in action!

Space Race

Space Race immerses users in an interplanetary race where their brain controls the action! Stay in a rewardable state to surge ahead and reach warp speed, outpacing other racers. Navigate through planetoids, asteroids, and collect reward gems for added visual appeal and motivation to maintain focus.

EEG Chomper

Chomper is a maze navigation game. Stay in a rewardable state to move through the maze and collect points while avoiding fiendish ghosts. Complete each maze to advance to the next level.

The game combines 2D and 3D graphics, with 2D icons and bars showing the amplitude of the inhibit and reward bands, and 3D environments for the maze. Ghosts react to your brain state, getting closer when you’re off track and retreating when you stay in a rewardable state.

Boat Race

In this competitive racing game, control a high-speed boat and perform epic jumps while staying in a rewardable state to outpace your opponents. Featuring customizable graphics, the game is optimized to run on various systems, including legacy machines. Colored meters on screen display the amplitude of the inhibit and reward bands, helping clients stay on track.

DVDGame

DVDGame enhances any DVD or video file on your computer with visual and auditory neurofeedback. It offers multiple overlay options for visual feedback and allows full customization of sound and difficulty settings to suit each client's needs. As one of the most popular neurofeedback games, DVDGame gives clinicians complete control over training while tailoring the experience to the client's interests.

Hues

Hues is a color-based variation of the traditional 4mation game. By staying in a rewardable state, the client creates vibrant, colorful images. If they fall out of the rewardable state, the colors gradually fade until they return to the desired state. This intuitive feedback helps clients track their progress and adjust accordingly. As with all EEGer games, clinicians have full control over various customization options to tailor the experience.

Iris

Based on 4mation, this picture game is designed for four-channel neurofeedback training (and works with two-channel and single-channel training!). The client controls four quadrants of the screen, revealing parts of an image by staying in a rewardable state. If they fall out of the rewardable state, the 'Iris' closes, blocking the image. This game is ideal for four-channel training, as each quadrant is controlled by an independent channel.

4mation Additional Picture Sets

Easily add new pictures to your existing 4mation installation. Each set offers 400 high-quality non-AI images for use with neurofeedback. With a total of 2,400 new images across six themed sets, the added variation and distinct themes can help when working with clients who do frequent or varied neurofeedback training.

Each set is priced at $120 or available via a subscription for $10/month. A bundle of all six sets is also available for $600 (buy 5, get 1 free).

Zukor Interactive

Zukor Interactive, founded in 2010, creates innovative neurofeedback games and cutting-edge software for biofeedback, peak performance, and recovery. For neurofeedback, their feedback displays are available with several different software programs.

Zukor’s Air

Zukor's Air is a flying-themed feedback game designed for all ages featuring high-quality aircraft, animals, and fantasy creatures. The game focuses on flying through rings for points, with continuous feedback provided by bars displayed on the screen.

Easily customizable, Zukor's Air can feature various environments. The flight pattern is unique each time and works with all layouts in EEGer. Configurable settings include adding dynamic visual effects and sounds. Zukor's Air is a fun and effective tool for neurofeedback training and a great addition to EEGer!

Zukor’s Drive

Zukor's Drive offers a range of gameplay intensity, from relaxed to tailored for peak-performance training. The unique doppelgänger feature allows patients to compete against their own past performance.

The game includes 15 diverse vehicles and 5 high-quality tracks in the standard "Clinical Version." The "Peak Performance Upgrade" offers more intense modes, such as chase and race, along with chaotic tracks and extreme vehicles. Zukor's Drive also features customizable profiles, scores, auditory feedback, and session presets, making it an ideal tool for both clinical and peak performance training.

Zukor’s Media Player

Zukor Media Player offers clinicians unique flexibility and features for feedback training with video, audio, images, and more. It supports all popular file formats, DVDs, CDs, and even YouTube videos (with an upgrade).

The player includes over 20 high-quality feedback options, from basic play/pause and pixelation to advanced visual effects like bubbles, double vision, and snow. Trainers can use 1 to 16 events to control corresponding visual or audio feedback, making it a powerful tool for a wide range of training applications.

Zukor’s Grind

Zukor’s Grind is a highly customizable skateboarding game, ideal for younger clients or those young-at-heart. The game focuses on three primary actions: controlling speed, performing tricks, and increasing the overall score, which can be driven by 1-3 events.

Clinicians can further personalize the experience by selecting up to 12 secondary gameplay actions, customizable with 16 visual effects like bubbles or flames. These actions can be set as discrete or proportional. The character progression mode, which unlocks new characters as score benchmarks are met, adds an extra incentive for clients to stay engaged and progress in their training.

Zukor’s Carnival

Zukor's Carnival is a collection of classic carnival-style games designed to engage clients with straightforward, non-overstimulating gameplay. Featuring appealing graphics and subtle sounds, each game offers a variety of customizable options to fit individual client needs or training goals.

Clinicians can enable a progression system, where clients unlock new games by achieving predefined scores. This provides a motivating incentive for clients to focus and progress through the carnival games during their sessions.

Zukor’s Sports 1

Sports 1 from Zukor Interactive is a diverse collection of sports-themed neurofeedback training games, including baseball, soccer, basketball, football, and hockey.

The game features an optional points-based scoring system that unlocks new features as clients accumulate points, keeping them engaged throughout their training. This system can be easily customized or disabled to suit specific client needs or training preferences.
