Installing Zukor Interactive Feedback Displays

Zukor Interactive has several feedback displays that are compatible with EEGer. Please take note of the computer requirements before purchasing additional feedback displays, as performance can be impacted if the system does not meet the software's minimum requirements.

Please note that Zukor Interactive feedback displays must be purchased through EEG Store or directly from Zukor Interactive prior to enable use during live sessions. For more information, including information on trials, please contact EEG Store.

Zukor Interactive feedback displays (games) can be downloaded at the following links:

Once downloaded and installed, run the Game Initialization Tool:

  1. If purchasing a new game, ensure that the latest enabling keyfile for the EEGer license is installed to allow for live sessions.

  2. Open EEGer and navigate to Tools>Game Initialization Tool from the top toolbar of EEGer's main screen.

  3. After a moment, a list of installed games should appear. Click Done-Save Configuration at the bottom of the menu.

  4. Click SAVE all games at the bottom of the next menu and return to EEGer's main screen.

  5. The new game should now be installed, and the Zukor Launcher can be selected when choosing a feedback display.

Ensure that a second monitor is connected to the computer, and that EEGer is set to dual display mode. The Zukor Launcher will only appear in the list of games if a second monitor is available and EEGer is configured correctly. Instructions on how to adjust EEGer's display settings can be found in this article.

Next, run the Zukor Launcher and provide contact information to receive a license key from Zukor Interactive. This key is unique on a computer-by-computer basis, and will need to be requested again if moving to a new computer. The easiest way to get to this screen is by running a replay session within EEGer:

  1. Select a client and click Replay a Session from EEGer's main screen.

  2. Select a session file to replay - if the selected Client ID does not have recorded session, select a client that does (such as eegdemo).

  3. Select Zukor Launcher from the list of games that appears. If Zukor Launcher does not appear on this list, ensure that the displays are configured properly and the Game Initialization Tool was ran once the Zukor game was installed.

  4. A Zukor Launcher window will appear - select the installed feedback display from those listed to launch the game.

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to request a license key from Zukor Interactive, filling in and submitting the requested information.

  6. Zukor will email a unique license key to 'unlock' the game. Copy this license key and repeat Steps 1-5, entering the license key at the bottom of the final screen.

  7. After submitting a valid license key, the game should be unlocked and ready to use!

Depending on the computer, Zukor games may display on the wrong screen when first installed. To correct this, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Zukor Launcher either directly or by beginning a live or replay session within EEGer.

  2. Once the launcher has opened, select the Zukor game that is appearing on the wrong monitor.

  3. Once the game has opened, select a client and a modality from within the Zukor game to be presented with the game's main menu.

  4. Click Options.

  5. Click Graphics.

  6. Locate the dropdown Game Monitor - this dropdown should list all connected displays.

  7. Change the selection for Game Monitor to the correct monitor. If you have two screens and the game is appearing on the wrong screen, change this setting to the only other option which is available.

  8. Click OK. The game should now move to the selected screen.

  9. Once finished, exit out of the options screen - Zukor should now remember this display and will always open the game on this screen.

Certain Zukor games allow for point-based progression and scoring. Some clinicians prefer to turn this off so that clients can access all features of the games. For instructions on how to do this, see this article.
