How to Demo or Trial Additional Feedback Displays

The best way to get an understanding of how a game works is to use it in demonstration mode. Demonstration mode allows a user to see how a game's feedback works and what options are available prior to making a purchase. This is important to ensure that the feedback is appropriate or effective for the training being done, and to make sure it works well on the computer.

Games cannot be used for live training until purchased, but they can be used in demonstration mode using replay data on the system. EEG Store also offers game trials that grant temporary access to live training with the game to better access its use and benefit.

Trials are available upon request and are limited to one trial of each game per license. During the trial period, clinicians may offer the game to their clients as an alternative to the normal games used during training. This helps get feedback on the experience and if the feedback was effective and engaging. Trials last for 30-days, which is usually an adequate time to test out a feedback display and receive feedback from clients on its effectiveness.

When a game trial is requested, EEG Store will provide a new keyfile enabling the selected game for a 30-day period. The game can then be installed and used for live training during that time. Once the trial is over, the user can purchase the game or simply continue using the software as normal if they do not want to purchase the game. If a trial has expired and the game has not been purchased, live sessions will not be possible with that specific game (but it will remain in the list of games until uninstalled or hidden). If the game is purchased, a new keyfile is sent to enable the game on an ongoing basis.
