Accessing Demonstration Data in Home Use Mode
EEGer comes preloaded with session data which can be used for demonstration or training purposes. This sample data is also useful when troubleshooting home use issues, as it allows the system to be used in replay mode without the risk of using an EEGer Authorization (if present on the home-use license). It is not possible to access the demonstration data while a home use flash drive is connected to the computer. This is because EEGer will only display client information stored on the home use flash drive when it is connected. To access the demonstration clients:
-
Open EEGer and disconnect the home use flash drive from the computer. The flash drive can be disconnected before or after the software is opened.
-
Click the Select Client button on the main screen of EEGer - a warning message will tell you that no home use flash drive is connected to the computer - click OK to continue.
-
A list of active clients will be displayed, including demonstration clients. For troubleshooting purposes, we recommend using the SMR eegdemo client and the two-channel replay data at T3-A1 T4-A2 to use the software in replay mode.
To switch back to the home-user's Client ID, simply reconnect the home use flash drive to the computer and click Change Client Selection on the main screen of EEGer. When reselecting a client, you should be prompted to access the home use flash drive as normal.
